These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of www.thetreasurebox.co.za and to every order you place with The Treasure Box. By using the website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 ("CPA") or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 ("ECTA").

1. About us

This website is operated by The Treasure Box, a family-owned homeware business based at 215 Julius Jeppe Street, Pretoria, Gauteng, 0145, South Africa. Phone / WhatsApp: 082 677 0660. Email: wealthduohq@gmail.com.

2. Products

We do our best to describe and photograph every product accurately. Colours may look slightly different on your screen, and packaging may differ from the images shown. All products are subject to availability. If an item you ordered turns out to be unavailable, we will let you know and refund you in full.

3. Prices and payment

  • All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR). Any taxes and delivery costs are shown at checkout before you pay.
  • Payment is taken at checkout by our secure third-party payment providers. We do not store your card details.
  • We check our prices carefully, but mistakes can happen. If an item is listed at an obviously incorrect price, we will contact you before dispatch, and you can choose to go ahead at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

4. Orders

After you place an order you will receive an order confirmation email. A binding contract is formed when we dispatch your order. We may decline or cancel an order – for example if an item is out of stock, if there is a pricing error, or if we suspect fraud – and in that case we will refund any payment in full.

5. Delivery

Delivery costs, times and areas are set out on our Shipping & Returns page. Risk in the goods passes to you when they are delivered.

6. Cancellations, returns and refunds

You may cancel an order and return goods within 7 days of delivery under section 44 of ECTA. Our full returns process is set out on our Shipping & Returns page.

7. Warranties

All goods carry the 6-month implied warranty of quality under section 56 of the CPA, as well as any manufacturer's warranty that comes with the product. See our Warranty page.

8. Promotions and discount codes

Promotions and discount codes are valid only for the period and on the terms stated, cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be combined unless we say so.

9. Using our website

You agree not to misuse the website, including by trying to gain unauthorised access, interfering with how it works, or using it for anything unlawful. All content on the website – including text, photographs, logos and design – belongs to The Treasure Box or its licensors and may not be copied without permission. Product names and brand logos are the trademarks of their respective owners.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, including the CPA, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the website or our products, and our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. This does not limit any liability that cannot be excluded under South African law.

12. Complaints and governing law

If you have a complaint, please contact us first and we will do our best to resolve it quickly. You may also contact the National Consumer Commission or the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version on the website when you place your order applies to that order.
